Municipal Law Unit hosts trainings on bylaw processes, MBTA Communities rules

The Attorney General’s Municipal Law Unit is holding three free, online training sessions this month on the zoning bylaw amendment process and bylaw filing.

Municipal Law Unit staff will discuss a variety of topics, including the requirements under Chapter 40, Section 32, and Chapter 40A, Section 5; the necessary forms and information to be submitted to the Municipal Law Unit as part of the bylaw filing process; and an overview of the MBTA Communities zoning requirements under Chapter 40A, Section 3A.

There will be a question and answer session as well.

Presenters will be:

• Nicole Caprioli, Assistant Attorney General

The sessions will be held via Zoom on:
• Thursday, Feb, 8, 10-11:30 a.m.
• Monday, Feb. 26, 1-2:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, Feb. 28, 10-11:30 a.m.
