Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
The MunEnergy program will sponsor four free breakfast seminars this summer about effectively managing municipal energy costs.
“Municipal Energy Pricing: What Every Community Needs to Know” will feature energy experts from Constellation Energy, the MMA’s MunEnergy partner.
Each seminar will include a 45-minute presentation explaining the basics of electricity pricing, what customers can and cannot control, and what consumers should know about the future of energy markets in Massachusetts.
There will be time for questions and answers after the presentation.
Attendees will gain a better understanding of how energy prices are set as well as options for controlling municipal energy costs going forward.
The seminars will be held from 8-10 a.m., and a light breakfast will be served.
