The Massachusetts Legislative Climate Alliance Caucus is inviting municipal officials to a Southeast Massachusetts Climate Action Forum on Nov. 26. The Massachusetts Legislative Climate Alliance Caucus is inviting municipal officials to a Southeast Massachusetts Climate Action Forum on Nov. 26, 9 a.m.-noon, in Taunton.

Massachusetts Climate Chief Melissa Hoffer will lead an engaging discussion on climate change and what municipalities and large institutions can do to take advantage of programs designed to further the transition to a cleaner, greener Massachusetts.

Additional speakers include:
• Melissa Lavinson, executive director, Office of the Energy Transformation
• Emily Reichert, CEO, Massachusetts Clean Energy Center
• Quentin Palfrey, director, Office of Federal Funds and Infrastructure
• Jonathan Schrag, deputy chief of Climate and director of Investment for Decarbonization and Resilience

The free forum is an opportunity to learn firsthand about existing energy programs and the recently passed climate bill, and to ask questions of Hoffer and her team about how communities may obtain the needed tools to help move forward in greening their communities and embracing a clean energy future.

The in-person-only event will be held at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 223, 475 Myles Standish Boulevard in Taunton.
