Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
The Veteran’s Agent provides assistance to veterans and their dependents regarding finances, medical benefits, housing, employment and education.
Associate degree in social services or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred; three years’ experience in social services or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Veteran status required, as defined by Massachusetts General Laws. In accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 115, Section 3B (b) Veteran’s service Officers must complete the Massachusetts Department of Veteran Services certification process within one year of their initial appointment and every three years thereafter.
