Town Manager

The town of Wrentham (pop. 12,788) seeks an experienced professional with executive level municipal experience, and with a strong demonstrated financial acumen to serve as its next Town Manager. Wrentham maintains its small-town New England charm with three lakes and substantial open space, ideally situated equidistant between Boston and Providence, RI. Wrentham is home to several successful businesses, including the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets, New England’s largest outlet center. Preserving the natural charm and attractiveness of Wrentham with economic opportunity and development requires a Manager with vision, leadership, and a commitment to what is in the town’s best interest.

The Town Manager shall be the chief executive and administrative officer responsible to the Select Board for the management of all town affairs placed in the Manager’s charge in accordance with the Town Charter, its applicable bylaws, and policies.

The Town Manager should be an accomplished communicator with the Board and the public, and must possess good managerial and interpersonal skills in order to confidently lead and motivate an already dynamic and dedicated staff.
