The town of Deerfield is accepting applications for a permanent Town Accountant.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with effective written and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of Massachusetts finance law. Successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or closely related field plus seven years of progressively responsible accounting/finance experience with at least five years in the municipal field. Designation as a Certified Governmental Accountant strongly preferred.
