This is a part-time position, 25 hours per week with evening meetings required in the Tax Assessors Department.  Due to the nature of the work, attention to detail, customer service, and good judgment are paramount. Duties include typing, filing, letter writing, answering questions regarding properties, maps, and deeds, scheduling appointments for town residents to meet with the Principal Assessor, and handling the processing of deed transfers to new owners.
