PLANNING DIVISION MANAGER
Office of Building & Planning
Non-union, exempt – Grade 15
$93,000. Starting salary – Additional $ commensurate with experience
This position performs professional, technical, and administrative work in providing information, organizing, and coordinating the programs and decisions that shape both the short-term and long-range plans of the community; provides support to the Planning Board and other boards and committees with respect to all aspects of planning, zoning, and land use; performs all other related work as required.

Bachelor’s degree in planning or related field; master’s degree desirable; five to seven years of urban planning experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Considerable knowledge of the principles of land use planning and historic preservation. Working knowledge of state and federal statutes governing municipal planning and land use. Familiarity with reviewing plot plan and site plan documentation.
This is a full time, 40 hours per week position, includes complete benefit package.
