The city of Gloucester is now accepting applications for the appointed position of IT Director. This position directs and manages operations of the department, executive planning, strategy, systems design, and technical development. Creates documentation for departmental policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures. Deploys systems for departmental and city-wide use procured through design and development process. Obtains funding sources, such as grants, appropriations, and enterprise funds. Manages and provides construction and renovation consultation. Monitors, researches, and conducts cybersecurity assessments.
