Inspector of Buildings/Zoning Enforcement Officer

Town of West Bridgewater seeks qualified applicants for full-time position of Inspector of Buildings/Zoning Officer. Applicant must be state certified as an Inspector of Buildings/Buildings Commissioner; have a construction supervisor’s license; and a valid Massachusetts driver’s license.

Works under the administrative direction of the Director of Inspectional Services and in accordance with applicable provisions of the Massachusetts general laws and local bylaws.

Performs varied and responsible functions of a technical nature requiring considerable independent judgment in the application, interpretation, and enforcement of building codes, zoning ordinances and other applicable regulations.
