FULL-TIME FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC

Responsibilities include responding to medical emergencies, fire suppression, fire prevention, and station duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Eighteen years of age
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Possess a current paramedic license issued by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health or ability to obtain said license within ten months.
  • Successful candidates will be required to successfully pass a CORI check, a background check, a physical exam including a drug test and a physical ability test
  • Successful completion of the MA Fire Academy Firefighter training preferred.
  • Candidates and Veterans with previous successful completion of the Massachusetts Fire Academy or equivalent and at least two years of experience as a Paramedic in a 911 service will be given preference.
