The town of Essex, Department of Public Works seeks a qualified applicant to fill the position of Department of Public Works Laborer. The applicant should be an energetic, ambitious, reliable team player and be comfortable interacting with the public.
The successful candidate will also be the Town’s recycling coordinator. Saturday hours are a must at the Transfer Station. Duties will include but not be limited to: Heavy manual labor, mowing, shoveling, and trimming and so on.
A pre-employment physical, drug test and CORI check is required.
Starting wage is $20.91 per hour with step raises for two years per union contract.
