DIRECTOR OF SENIOR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

40 Hours Weekly

FULL BENEFIT PACKAGE

Hiring Range: $68,783.37 to $83,227.32 (full salary range exceeds hiring range)

The Program Director will develop and administer programs, classes, and special events for the Belmont Community Services. This position is focused on providing excellent services for seniors in Belmont and surrounding communities. Under general direction of the Community Services Director, the Program Director is responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling activities, as well as to manage all of aspects of publicity and communication for programs and services, including creating the newsletter, social media posts, and emails, in addition to assisting with statistical reporting, and general department operations.

 Bachelor’s Degree preferred, plus three to five years of experience working with older adults, preferably in a senior center setting; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, kills, and abilities to perform essential functions of the job. Expertise in elder services strongly preferred. Program planning and design experience is required. Valid driver’s license and CPR/First aid certification required.
