The city of Somerville is looking for an experienced and dynamic candidate to lead the development and preservation of affordable housing while helping to stimulate market-rate housing growth. In this key leadership role, you will oversee housing services, manage a dedicated team, and collaborate with agencies to shape impactful policies that address the housing needs of our community. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in urban policy, urban planning, public policy, public administration, real estate development, or other relevant program and five to seven years of experience in municipal housing functions, or related work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Hours: Full-time
Salary: $120,000.00 annualized, plus benefits
Union: Non-union
