Deputy Treasurer-Collector

Brookline seeks a highly qualified Deputy Treasurer-Collector to assist the Treasurer/Collector in all collection and treasury management operations related to collection of revenue, preparing committed bill-related documentation, the expenditure and custody of municipal funds. Supervises activities of the division; assumes responsibility in absence of the Treasurer-Collector.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in business administration, finance, or related field; five to seven years of progressively responsible financial experience, including collection and/or treasury management; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Municipal finance experience preferred. Must be bondable. MCTA certification desirable.
