Collection System Operator

The city of Lowell is seeking candidates for the position Collection System Operator in the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The position reports directly to Collection System Manager, Collection System Supervisor and Maintenance Manager and performs equipment maintenance, installation, and repair work on collection system (drain, sewer, and combined systems) and outlying structures both in existence and to be added in the future. Commercial Driver’s license, Hoisting licenses, and all other essential licenses commensurate with the job duties, must be obtained within one year of appointment. Wastewater Operator license, Collection System license preferred. Salary range: $28.37 (min.) to $34.74 (max) per hour plus incentives with applicable licenses; 40 hours per week; various shifts; operates on 24-hour basis.
