Civil Engineer

The town of Southborough seeks qualified applicants for the newly created position of Civil Engineer. This non-union, full-time position will support the DPW and report to the Superintendent of Public Works. Job includes: 75% HMO paid by the town, generous paid leave program and diverse benefits available.

Primary duties shall include civil engineering, surveying, construction inspection, plan review, coordinating permits, design, cost estimating, preparation of bid documents and project management.

Requirements: bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Massachusetts EIT preferred or licensed PE, or more than five years of related professional experience; proficiency in MS Office programs, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS is preferred; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
