Join the city of Melrose Department of Public Works as a Building Systems Supervisor and be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing our municipal facilities! In this critical role, you’ll lead the way in managing the city’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring our community spaces remain comfortable, efficient, and sustainable. You will oversee HVAC operations, conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and drive system improvements using advanced automation. Collaborate with contractors to ensure service standards, energy efficiency, and lead maintenance efforts to enhance sustainability across municipal facilities. The qualified candidate has five to ten years hands-on HVAC experience, including digital control systems and steam heating. High school diploma plus advanced HVAC technical training. Massachusetts State Refrigeration license, Universal Refrigeration Transition and Recovery certification, and a valid MA driver’s license are all must-haves.
The salary range is $86,570 to $91,873.60 annually, commensurate with experience.
