The town of Dartmouth is seeking a full-time Residential Building Inspector for 40 hours per week. This position is responsible for administrative, technical and inspectional work related to the enforcement and interpretation of the state building code, the local zoning bylaw and other applicable regulations.
A high school diploma and 10 years of experience in the supervision of building construction or design; or equivalent five years of experience with construction supervisory experience is required. State certification required as per Massachusetts Dept. of Building Regulations and Standards or the ability to obtain within one year of start date.
The salary range for this position is $30.43-$39.59 per hour.
