Assistant Treasurer/Collector
The town of Wrentham is seeking a qualified Assistant Treasurer/Collector to assist the town Treasurer/Collector with the statutory duties and responsibilities of the department. This includes maintenance of accounts and other financial records, collection of all taxes and other receivables due to the town, disbursing municipal funds and accounting for receipts and expenditures. Appointed by the Town Manager and under the administrative direction of the Treasurer/Collector, the Assistant Treasurer/Collector performs the duties and responsibilities in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, town policies, bylaws, Massachusetts Department of Revenue regulations and federal law.
This is a full-time (35 hours/four days per week/M-TH) union position with full benefits. Expected hiring range is $31.21 – $31.86 per hour DOQ, with excellent benefits.
