The Automotive Career Development Center is offering free training to help operators of medium- and heavy-duty fleets better understand high-voltage systems and technician safety.

This one-day training is free to qualifying repair shops and fleets in Massachusetts, and aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to work safely and effectively with these advanced systems. During the one-day training, participants will learn about the concepts and fundamentals of high voltage systems in medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, and about technician safety protocols when working with these systems.

The training has been made possible through a partnership between ACDC and Energetics, with additional support from the Massachusetts Clean Cities Coalition. This training is funded by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center’s Workforce Equity Training Program.

The ACDC is also looking for shops willing to host training sessions in their area. For those shops hosting, the training program can provide funding for event costs such as chair and table rentals, and attendee lunch.

Fleets interested in the training can complete an online form to express their interest and reserve their spaces. People needing help completing the form can email Victoria McGarril at vmcgarril@energetics.com.
