Discussion with Sean Cronin, Senior Deputy Commissioner, Division of Local Services
Division of Local Services (DLS), is responsible for ensuring the fairness and equity of local property taxation, the accuracy and quality of local accounting and treasury management, interpreting state laws that affect local governance, distributing local aid, and maintaining a comprehensive Databank on local finances.
Commissioner Cronin has agreed to meet with us over Zoom, as representatives of smaller communities, to specifically answer state finance questions that we may have during this unique time.
We are gathering questions ahead of time, so that the Commissioner will have the opportunity to answer them during our meeting. So please forward your questions by noon on Friday, May 1 to:
