Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
The Massachusetts Municipal Management Association and the Massachusetts Interlocal Insurance Association are sponsoring a free webinar on June 21 focusing on how to identify, monitor and address risks in municipalities.
Speakers will include attorney Regina Ryan, founder and president of Discrimination and Harassment Solutions, and MIIA Loss Control Manager David Dowd. They will cover general municipal liability, discrimination and harassment claims, managing reasonable accommodations and school related issues, and cybersecurity risks.
The webinar, titled “Municipal Risk Management 101: Understanding the Municipal Liability Landscape from a Risk Management Perspective,” will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Any town administrator, assistant town administrator or human resources director is invited to attend, but the program is targeted to those who are new to their positions.
