Who is a member?
Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
This meeting is an opportunity for those who live or work in Hampshire County to discuss health insurance-related issues facing towns in Massachusetts. The program will serve as a guide for towns of all sizes to navigate municipal health insurance and other post-employment benefits (OPEB).
An interactive session led by Tom O’Brien, treasurer of Plymouth County and the Mayflower Municipal Health Group, and Chris Bailey, manager of MIIA’s Health Benefits Trust, will discuss the challenges and opportunities that cities and towns face regarding health insurance today. The session will allow time for questions as well as a breakout group discussion.
