Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
The Massachusetts Municipal Councillors’ Association will host a Spring Regional Meeting at the MGM Resort and Casino in Springfield on Saturday, April 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The topic bringing councillors’ to Western Massachusetts this spring is economic development. Members will hear from the featured speaker, Michael Kennealy the recently appointed Secretary of Housing and Economic Development.
The event will include a networking breakfast, welcoming remarks from MMCA President and Melrose Alderman Monica Medeiros, a legislative update from MMA Legislative Director John Robertson, and a tour of the MGM facility with a focus on how this development has affected the region.
The meeting is free of charge but registration is required.
