The MMA is pleased to present a comprehensive webinar on PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) on Wednesday, July 21 from 12 noon to 1 p.m.
Presentations will cover basic information about PFAS chemicals and their human and environmental health implications; the state’s regulations regarding testing and detection in drinking water; treatment options and sources of funding; local case studies and experiences with PFAS contamination; and information about the Legislature’s PFAS Interagency Task Force.

This meeting is open to all municipal officials (mayors, town managers or administrators, select board members, and councilors) and any relevant municipal staff.
This meeting will be conducted as a Zoom Webinar. The webinar is free to attend, but you must register in advance. Please be sure to register at least 60 minutes prior to the start of the webinar.
We will be taking questions during the webinar using the Q&A function, which requires use of the Zoom desktop or smartphone app.
