Who is a member?
Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
An information session will be held on Zoom for those interested in the MMA and Suffolk University’s Municipal Fellowship program.
For a fourth year, the MMA is partnering with Suffolk on the program, which is designed to offer exceptional municipal managers the opportunity to receive a scholarship of up to $28,000 toward a master’s degree in public administration at Suffolk University.
Candidates will partner with their community to continue their employment while completing their academic studies part-time. Applicants must already be accepted for admission to Suffolk’s master’s in public administration program and receive the support of the chief municipal official in their municipality. Consideration will be given to graduates of the MMA-Suffolk Certificate in Local Government Leadership and Management program.
The fellowship application will be available on the MMA website on Feb. 1.
