Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
The Massachusetts Municipal Councillors’ Association’s first regional meeting of 2016 will be an opportunity for those who live or work in or near Middlesex County to discuss issues facing cities in Massachusetts.
The program will feature presentations by proponents and opponents of ballot question 4, which would legalize recreational marijuana in Massachusetts. Representatives from the Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol and the Campaign for a Safe and Healthy Massachusetts will be speaking.
The meeting will include opening remarks from MMCA President and Leominster Councillor Claire Freda and a legislative update from the MMA.
The meeting is free, but registration is required.
