DLS reminds communities to report ballot question results

The Division of Local Services is reminding communities that they must report the outcomes of certain ballot measures using the division’s online Gateway.

These ballot measures include passage of the Community Preservation Act and Proposition 2½ debt exclusions and overrides.

The Division of Local Services makes numerous online resources available to help election officials with submitting these ballot outcomes, including the Community Preservation Act webpage, a Proposition 2½ overrides guide, and a 2023 DLS webinar.

In addition, the Division of Local Services is offering a training webinar on Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. to provide instructions for entering Proposition 2½ ballot measures into the Division’s online Gateway. Registration is required for the Zoom webinar; login details will be provided upon completion of the registration form.
