The Attorney General’s Office has announced that it will be conducting a review of its regulations governing interpretation and enforcement of the open meeting law, found at 940 CMR 29.00-29.10.
 
Prior to drafting proposed amendments, which will also be subject to public comment, the office seeks input from all stakeholders and members of the public.
 
The public is encouraged to submit written comments on the current regulations, as well as suggestions for new regulations related to the open meeting law. These comments should be limited to regulations only.
 
Comments must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 28, and should be directed to Jonathan Sclarsic, Director, Division of Open Government, Office of the Attorney General, One Ashburton Place, 20th floor, Boston, MA 02108, or OpenMeeting@State.MA.US. Any comments received by the Attorney General’s Office may be considered public records.
