This is one of two educational opportunities the ATFC is offering this spring. There is no charge, but registration is required. Other local officials are welcome to attend.

OPEB – Other Post-Employment Benefits
Speaker: Dan Sherman, Sherman Actuarial Services
Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB), mainly consisting of retiree health insurance, represent a $30 billion liability for the cities and towns of the Commonwealth. These benefits will soon crowd out funding for essential municipal jobs and services. This workshop will focus on the different ways you can manage your OPEB liability.
