At a dinner meeting on March 4, the City Solicitors and Town Counsel Association will present the program “Implementing the New Conflict-of-Interest Law.”

New conflict-of-interest law requirements are already in effect, and more are about to take effect. This meeting will discuss the law’s notification requirements, online training, testing, appointment of a local liaison, fine changes, and more.

Speakers will include two representatives from the State Ethics Commission: Executive Director Karen Nober and General Counsel Deidre Roney.

Local officials such as administrators, city and town clerks, and personnel administrators are invited to this meeting.

Informative materials will be e-mailed to registrants who provide their e-mail address.

The meeting will be held at the Hogan Center at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. with a reception, followed by dinner and the program, ending by 9:30 p.m.
