Conservation Agent

The town of West Newbury is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Conservation Agent. Responsibilities include administration and enforcement of Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and applicable local regulations, management of municipal conservation land, and serving as an advisor to the Conservation Commission and other local Boards and Committees.

Minimum qualifications include: bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, natural resource management, ecology or related field, and three years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience. This is a full-time (40 hrs/wk), non-exempt (hourly), benefits eligible position, with some evening meetings required. Annual salary: $70,665 – $85,276 DOQ. Position open until filled.
