The town of Danvers welcomes applicants for the full-time, non-union, benefited position of Therapeutic Recreational Specialist. The town of Danvers is a reputable community on the North Shore, providing a supportive and welcoming environment for all staff, including a commitment to professional development and policies that promote and support a healthy work/life balance. The Therapeutic Recreational Specialist is part of the Recreation Department. This position assists with staff and volunteer trainings, hirings, and participant placements throughout the year with special collaboration given to community partners, including the Danvers Public Schools and Fun Club after school program. This position provides direct service programming, performs intake assessments and applies modifications and adaptations of community recreation programs.
This is a non-union position that works thirty-five (35) hours per week, five days a week (Monday-Friday). Pay scale starting at $65,854.33, with the ability to move through the pay scale via step system to a maximum of $81,659.40. Excellent benefits!
