The city of Newton is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of BERDO Manager. The BERDO Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing the city of Newton’s BERDO (Building Energy Reduction and Disclosure Ordinance) program. The Manager ensures compliance with BERDO regulations, supports building owners in reducing carbon emissions, manages data and reporting processes, and coordinates with stakeholders to advance the city’s sustainability goals. The position requires expertise in building energy management, decarbonization strategies, and regulatory compliance. This is a full-time position, hiring salary range: $79,270.00 – $85,343.00 annually plus yearly step increases, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to be a part of our team of dedicated public servants.
