The town of Weston (pop. 11,500) is seeking applications for the position of Public Works Director. The position oversees engineering, highway; vehicle maintenance, water; stormwater; parks & cemeteries; and solid waste. There are 34 full-time reports and a FY25 annual operating budget of $7.8 million & capital budget of $4.9 million. Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field; ten years experience in municipal public works management or ten years construction and project management experience; water systems management experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate must possess proven experience establishing and managing budgets; dedication to providing optimum public service and solving citizen complaints; as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
