Bridgewater (28,633 pop.), is seeking a collaborative municipal leader with superior financial management and budgeting skills to serve as its Town Manager. The Town Manager must be a skilled communicator, actively engage with the community, and willingly embrace transparency. Bridgewater is a vibrant, growing, and increasingly diverse community located 23 miles south of Boston. It hosts a commuter rail station and is home to Bridgewater State University, Bridgewater State Hospital, and Old Colony Correctional Center. Bridgewater has Town Council-Town Manager form of government, an AA rating, and FY25 operating budget of $73.35M. Preferred candidates will have an advanced degree, preferably in public administration or a related field and experience as a Town Manager/Administrator or Assistant Town Manager/Administrator. Preferred candidates must have excellent project management skills, the ability to work collaboratively with the regional school district and state university, and the ability to work cooperatively with boards, committees, and commissions. Candidates should be highly ethical, detail oriented, and innovative thinkers.
Annual salary: $200K+/- DOQ. EOE.
