Deputy Director, Housing and Community Development

The city of Malden seeks an experienced leader to serve as Deputy Director of Housing & Community Development within the Office of Strategic Planning & Community Development (OSPCD). This position works to advance the city’s housing & community development goals.

The Deputy Director oversees the Housing & Community Development division, managing a team of five professionals & leading a diverse portfolio of programs & projects including affordable housing development, housing rehabilitation, park improvements, & social services. Key components of this role include project management, community engagement, and building trusting relationships with stakeholders across Malden’s diverse community.
