Transfer Station Heavy Equipment Operator

The town of Chatham is searching for a Heavy Equipment Operator in the Transfer Station Division of the DPW.

The Heavy Equipment Operator performs routine maintenance and repair to equipment, hauling and preparing materials for shipping and participates in snow and ice operations.

Callbacks and overtime for weather related and state of emergency operations are mandatory.

Position is 40 hours per week with overtime potential. Starting hourly wage is $27.93 – $29.06. Position is benefits and pension eligible.
