The town of Franklin Board of Assessors is seeking a full-time Appraiser, reporting to Director of Assessing. The Appraiser performs various tasks/functions including appraisal and valuation of real estate and personal property for nearly 12,000 parcels and just over 600 personal property accounts in a town of 33,612 residents.

The incumbent will deliver excellent customer service while helping town employees & residents by ensuring the Department’s core missions are performed in a professional, timely & equitable manner. This is a full-time benefited position; the incumbent works 40 hours/week.

HOURS: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. ; Wednesday 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
SALARY: $72,000 – $85,000 annually
