The town of Acushnet (pop. 10,303) seeks a qualified, professional for the position of Town Accountant. Acushnet has an operating budget of approx. $35 million. The ideal candidate will minimally possess a degree in accounting, finance, or related field, plus three years of public finance experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of UMAS, GAAP, and GASB regulations. Experience with MUNIS is preferred.
