Junior Civil Engineer

City of Malden seeks Junior Engineer to work under the direction of the City Engineer to provide support to the Engineering Department.

Junior Engineer assists in all aspects of roadway and utility infrastructure programs; procures contracts, including the preparation of bid documents/capitals contracts; coordinates and oversees forces in implementing roadway/water/sewer/drainage/other infrastructure projects; coordinates filings/permitting requirements associated with MWRA, DEP, EPA; assists public. Candidate should have bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field with at least two years of experience in municipal engineering. Candidate should have a current/valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
