The Senior Project Manager in the Engineering Division of Public Works reports to the Assistant Commissioner for Engineering/City Engineer and the Director of Engineering Services. Candidates should have a vision for long-range infrastructure planning and strong technical skills.
Approximately 45% of Cambridge operates under a combined sewer system with seven active CSO outfalls owned by the city. This position will lead the development of an updated CSO control plan integrating future climate projections, in collaboration with MWRA and city of Somerville, ensuring regulatory compliance, policy development, and project implementation.
