The town of Carlisle, Massachusetts, has an open position for a full-time Public Safety Dispatcher. Candidates must be able to work all shifts for a 24/7 operation. Responsibilities include receiving emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire and EMS; dispatching public safety personnel, plus related duties. Excellent written and verbal skills a must, good computer and typing skills a plus. Ability to multitask is essential. Experience with IMC, certification in E-911 desirable, but will train the right candidate. This is a union position.
