Federal Funds Office offers supplemental CARES closeout guidance

Once the Reconciliation Period application deadline passed on Oct. 29, municipalities shifted their focus to wrapping up the quarterly spending reporting facet of the CARES Act’s Coronavirus Relief Fund – Municipal Program and subsequently closing out the program.

In addition to a memorandum issued on Sept. 15, the Executive Office for Administration and Finance’s Federal Funds Office has published a supplemental close out guidance document that provides additional details regarding the final quarterly spending report — due by Dec. 3 — and how to complete the closeout form.
