In order to ensure that as many people as possible can attend, the MMA Human Services Council will now be offering its Fall webinar at no cost. The Zoom webinar – Dealing with Difficult People – will take place on Wednesday, October 20 from noon – 1 p.m.
Human services professionals are often on the front lines of some of the most challenging situations in city and town halls. Whether dealing with a community member in crisis, or a colleague that is having a bad day, there are strategies that you can employ to work through and resolve these difficult situations. Join the HSC for a free training, led by AllOne Health Organizational Development Training Specialist Daphney Valcinor, that will teach specific techniques for dealing with difficult people and situations.
If you previously registered for the webinar, no action is needed. Your registration is still valid and you will not be required to pay. All others should register directly through Zoom by contacting Isabelle Nichols at inichols@mma.org. The meeting is free, but you must register in advance. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, which will contain your link to join the webinar.
