Who is a member?
Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
Following city elections in November, the Massachusetts Municipal Councillors’ Association will host a workshop for newly elected councillors on Saturday, Dec. 7, in Worcester.
The conference will include three breakout sessions, on municipal budgeting, constituent services, and navigating the role of a city councillor.
“You’ve Been Elected – Now What? Navigating Your Role as a Councillor” will be the theme of the keynote address, which will focus on introducing councillors to the resources they have in their cities and throughout the Commonwealth, including the MMA and MMCA.
The conference will be held at the College of the Holy Cross. While the training is aimed at newly elected councillors, veterans are also welcome.
