The town of Stoughton is seeking applicants to fill the position of Office Assistant within the Human Resources Office. This is a full-time (35 hours a week), benefitted, non-union position working under the general direction of the Director of Human Resources & Wellness.
Duties:
The Office Assistant provides administrative support to department staff; responds to inquiries from employees, citizens and others and refers, when necessary, to appropriate persons;
Maintains personnel records; maintains the attendance for town departments in Munis; assists in the preparation, maintenance, and issuance of the payroll; assists in the administration of employee benefits programs; responds to inquiries from the general public, and all other duties as assigned.

Recommended Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent plus at least four years’ experience in a Human Resources office setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Experience with MUNIS software preferred.
Starting Salary: $28.46/Hr.
